Meet David

Bio from Show 285:

David Steinhardt (guitar), 17, is from Pittsford, New York, where he attends Pittsford Mendon High School. He studies with Petar Kodzas at the Eastman Community Music School. David has been featured as a performer at the 2013 Montreal International Guitar Festival as the winner of the 2012 Montreal International Youth Guitar Competition. David is also the winner of the American String Teachers Association Solo Competition (junior guitar division), the Rochester Virtuosi Competition Chamber Music Division, and the Rochester Philharmonic Youth Orchestra Concerto Competition. In addition to guitar, David plays the double bass. Outside of music, David is a member of the American Coaster Enthusiasts Club, and he builds roller coaster models is his basement.
