Daniel Song (piano), 11, attends the ET Richardson Middle School in Springfield, Pennsylvania and is a recipient of From the Top’s $10,000 Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award. Born in Korea, Daniel came to the United States when he was two years old, and soon after began studying piano at the Nelly Berman Music School. He has participated in the Samuel Barber International Festival at West Chester University in Pennsylvania. Daniel also plays violin in his middle school orchestra and swims competitively.
