Daniel Lay, violin
DANIEL LAY, 17, has been playing the violin at the age of 5. As a senior at Belmont High School, he is current Concertmaster Belmont High School Orchestra, and was a member of the MMEA Northeastern District Orchestra. In addition to orchestra, Daniel enjoys playing both chamber groups as well as solo repertoire. He currently is studying violin under Mark Lakirovich. In the summers of 2014 and 2015, Daniel attended the Cremona International Music Academy in Italy. When he is not dwelling in the joys of music, Daniel enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee with his peers.
