Meet Coco

Coco performed on Show 338 in New York, New York at The Weill Music Institute at Carnegie Hall on April 23, 2017.

Coco Ma (piano), 16, is a recipient of From the Top’s Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award. She studies with Dr. Yoheved Kaplinsky at the Juilliard School Pre-College Division. Coco has won top prizes in the Canadian Music Competition, Zhuhai Mozart International Competition for Young Musicians, and Aarhus International Piano Competition. One of her most memorable experiences was performing as a soloist with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra in support of the SickKids Foundation. Outside of music, Coco enjoys writing fiction novels, eating cake, and soaking in really good books and movies.
