Cassie Pilgrim (oboe), 16, is from Chamblee, Georgia, and recently graduated from the Wesleyan School in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. Currently, she attends Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Cassie was the principal oboist with the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra for three years. She was also the winner of their concerto competition and soloed in the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra Finale Concert in May 2013. She was a member of the 2014 National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America. She has attended the Interlochen Oboe Summer Institute and the Tanglewood Summer Oboe Workshop. Outside of music, Cassie enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her friends.
