Meet Angeline
Angeline performs on Show 399, recorded at The Colburn School in Los Angeles, California. Previously she appeared on Show 379 as a member of the Fervida Trio.
Angeline Kiang (cello), 16, is from Fremont, California, and in her junior year at Oak Crest Academy. She studies cello with Clive Greensmith at the Colburn Music Academy and piano with Micah Yui at the Colburn Community School of Performing Arts. Angeline has been awarded top prizes in numerous competitions, including the Pacific Musical Society Competition, ENKOR International Music Competition, and DVC/HNU Young Artist String Competition. Her ensemble, the Fervida Trio, won gold medals in the Junior Division of the 2019 Fischoff National Chamber Competition and Pasadena Chamber Music Competition. Outside of music, Angeline enjoys long distance running, chess, and baking.
