Meet Andrew

Andrew performed as a member of the Calliope Piano Trio on Show 334 in Boston, MA on March 12, 2017, and performed on Show 339 in Miami, FL on May 9, 2017.

Show 339 bio:

Andrew Guo (Composition/Piano), 18, is a homeschooled high school senior from Chicago and a recent recipient of From the Top’s Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award. He studies composition with Matthew Hagle and piano with Alan Chow at the Music Institute of Chicago. Andrew had an incredible time at the 2017 National YoungArts Week in Miami, where he enjoyed meeting passionate and dedicated young artists and got to collaborate on composing a finale piece for 22 musicians. Outside of music, he is interested in programming, neuroscience, cycling, and eating dumplings.
