Emily Smith (violin, Ausier Trio), 18, played on a train platform in Panama for hundreds of children with the New England Conservatory Youth Philharmonic Orchestra two years ago. She has loved attending Greenwood Music Camp, and participated in the Junior Fischoff Competition, where the Ausier Trio won 1st prize. Emily is a first year student at the Julliard School, and hails from Newtonville, MA.

Lee Dionne (piano, Ausier Trio), 16, asked his parents at age 4 if he could study piano, and he has been playing ever since. He also enjoys chess, fishing, spending time with his family, and playing ping-pong with a spatula and various other kitchen implements instead of a paddle. Lee, from Ridgefield, CT, is a junior at Phillips Academy.

Jude Tedaldi (cello, Ausier Trio), 18, has just begun first year at Columbia University. A well-traveled guy, Jude enjoyed living in France with a family, and going to Japan for the Junior Tchaikovsky Competition. He also plays squash, and is interested in photography. Jude is from Newton, MA.
