Meet Alex

Alex performs on Show 457.

Alex Saddler (flute), 16, hails from Blue Springs, Missouri, and is a junior at Blue Springs South High School. He has been playing flute for five years. Through those five years Alex has performed with many youth ensembles throughout Missouri including the Blue Springs South High School Wind Symphony, Youth Symphony of Kansas City, Missouri All-State Band, and the Missouri Ambassadors of Music. These performances have led to venues such as Helzberg Hall at the Kaufman Center for Performing Arts and Carnegie Hall. He has also performed at the Mid-America Music Association Festival, winning Top Virtuoso in 2024.

Alex has studied for three years with Beverly Carlson and has attended masterclasses with Kansas City Symphony flutist Michael Gordon.
