Alba Gilabert-Reid (violin), 14, hails from Quincy, Massachusetts. She is a freshman at Milton Academy. Alba has been playing violin since she was five at ProjectSTEP and New England Conservatory. She studies with Liana Zaretsky and is the current concert mistress of Youth Symphony at NEC. Besides violin, Alba spends her time reading and playing sports, such as soccer and track. She also enjoys other art forms, such as singing, dancing, and musical theater. In school she is an active member of the Student Lead Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice Committee, as well as a member of other clubs.
