Meet Abigail

Abigail performed on Show 352 in Zellerbach Auditorium in Berkeley, California on March 2, 2018 at age 17.

Abigail Arkley (piano), 17, is a twelfth grader from Bloomington, Minnesota and a recipient of From the Top’s Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist. The scholarship of up to $10,000 is given to 20 deserving young musicians each year to support their musical studies. A student of Kevin Hobbs, Abigail won the top prize in the Schubert Club Scholarship Competition in St Paul in 2016, which gave her the opportunity for masterclasses and to perform at St Paul’s Ordway Center. Her favorite musical experience has been performing Prokofiev’s Third Piano Concerto with the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra in Wisconsin. Abigail also enjoys playing the guitar and mandolin, singing, hand lettering, painting, and illustrating.
