Meet Our Epic Boston Latin School Intern, Christine Shi!

As a recipient of the Deitch Leadership Institute Fellowship for students at the Boston Latin School, Christine has been working with Austin Boyer in our marketing department for the past seven weeks. Out of the seventeen Boston organizations she could’ve chosen, From the Top was her top choice — and we’re so glad she got it!

“I learned so much about the machine behind all the arts and entertainment I consume while interning at From the Top,” reflects Christine. “I’m thankful that I got to have such a fun and eye-opening experience. It was truly an epic gamer moment. 😎”

Out of the many projects Christine worked on this summer, she particularly enjoyed helping the production team set up for our most recent show of NPR’s From the Top in NEC’s Jordan Hall and being able to see how our shows come together behind the scenes. She was particularly amazed by the young musicians’ simultaneous talent and “chill, lowkey” attitude. Oh, and those puns you have been seeing on our social media? She’s the mastermind behind them!

Christine brought positivity and humor to the office that we will certainly miss as she prepares to head off to her freshman year at Cornell University. Christine, thank you for your hard work and energy! Make sure to stay in touch, and we wish you all the best!
