News from Alum Karen Christianson

15-year-old organist Karen Christianson has been busy since appearing on Show 223 in Abilene, Texas!

This Saturday, February 5, Karen is featured on WWFM’s “Cadenza” with David Osenberg at 3pm. Karen’s From the Top show will also be rebroadcast on Saturday at 12pm, so if you’re in Eastern Pennsylvania or New Jersey, definitely tune in!

Both programs will highlight the live broadcast of Karen’s upcoming recital at the Princeton University Chapel on February 10, which is the inaugural recital of WWFM’s new broadcast series. Karen’s interview with David will be available online after February 5 here.

Later this month, Karen will give another recital on The Great Organ of the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. The event is on Sunday, February 27 at 5:15pm.
