Meet Hansen and Alexis

Hansen and Alexis perform on Show 460.

Hansen Berrett and Alexis Zou (piano), 17, began playing piano four-hands together two years ago. They are currently studying with Dr. Renato Fabbro in Portland, Oregon. They won first prize in the Senior Piano Duet category at the 2023-2024 MTNA National Competition in Atlanta, Georgia. They also won the 2022 Charleston International Piano Competition for piano ensemble, the 2022 Oregon MTNA Senior Piano Duet Competition, as well as winning second prize in the 2022 Enkor International Music Competition Ensemble division. They have collaborated with Anderson and Roe for the 2023 Portland Piano International music gala and have also been featured on Portland All Classical Radio music program.

Outside of music, Alexis enjoys playing golf and performing at local community centers, and Hansen enjoys writing, reading, and performing poetry.
