Meet Plexus Quartet

Plexus Quartet performs on Show 431.

Plexus Quartet is comprised of saxophonists Aayan Patel (Soprano Sax), 16, from The Colony, Texas; Luke Sharp (Alto Sax), 16, from Lewisville, Texas; Daniel Kim (Tenor Sax), 17, from Carrollton, Texas; and Nigel Duplessis (Baritone Sax), 17, from Plano, Texas. All of the members attend Hebron High School in Carrollton and are coached by Mark Smith. The Plexus Quartet won the Gold Medal at the 2022 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition. The quartet also received First Place and Grand Prize in the 2022 Coltman Chamber Music Competition and First Place in the 14th Annual Houston Underground Saxophone Competition.
