Theo will appear on Show 387 at the Interlochen Arts Academy on March 19, 2020.

Theo Swanson (trumpet), 18, hails Clear Lake, Iowa. He is a senior at Interlochen Arts Academy in Interlochen, Michigan, where he studies trombone with Thomas Riccobono. Swanson was runner-up at the NFB Solo Competition and was a three-time member of the Iowa All-State Orchestra. When he is not practicing, Swanson enjoys reading books, watching TV, and hiking.
