The Quid Nunc Saxophone Quartet is an ensemble from Ronald Reagan High School in San Antonio, Texas. The 2024-2025 Quid Nunc Saxophone Quartet is comprised of Andrew Diaz (soprano saxophone), Joshua Furtak (alto saxophone), Gabriel Garnier (tenor saxophone), Noah Vu (baritone saxophone). They were Gold Medal winners of the 2024 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition.
The 2018 Quid Nunc Saxophone Quartet performed on February 14th, 2018 on Show 350 in San Antonio, Texas.
The Quid Nunc Saxophone Quartet is from Ronald Reagan High School in San Antonio, Texas and coached by Greg White, Associate Director of Bands. The 2018 quartet includes James Pachikara (baritone saxophone), 15, Matt Escobedo (tenor saxophone), 17, Ryan Montemayor (soprano saxophone), 17, and Jacob Brockett (alto saxophone), 15.
Members of the quartet have been selected to participate in the Texas Music Educators Association All-State Bands, and have been winners of Music Teachers National Association competitions.
