Maxim Lando (piano), 11, is from Great Neck in Long Island, New York, where he attends North Middle School. He studies with Hung-Kuan Chen and Tema Blackstone at NEC Preparatory Academy in Boston, Massachusetts. He performs chamber music with Jupiter Symphony Chamber Players and has attended music festivals in Peruqia, Italy, and Yerevan, Armenia. He loves playing chamber music, and also plays the celeste and violin. Outside of music, he enjoys learning about and visiting skyscrapers.
