About
This week, From the Top comes to you from the Sunset Center in beautiful Carmel, California. You’ll hear outstanding musicians from 11 to 18 years old, including a teenage soprano singing Fauré, a very young pianist playing Bach, and an 18-year-old violinist performing a piece by Leonard Bernstein. You’ll also hear a spirited piece of new music written by a teenage composer, and 13-year-old Roving Reporter Caeli Smith joins us to present our first ever multi-lingual musical quiz. This week’s finale features something a little different — classical accordion played by an 11-year-old!
