From the Top went into the archives to bring together a special All Game Show Edition of the program. This show features not only some of the strongest music performances heard on the From the Top, but also many of the most popular musical games played on the show.

Performers and Repertoire:

NEC Preparatory Division String Quartet (violinist Francesca Anderegg, 18, from West Stockbridge, MA; violinist Lily Francis, 16, from West Hartford, CT; violist Rianna Moscaritolo, 17 from Concord, NH; and cellist Peter Anderegg, 18, from West Stockbridge, MA) performs String Quartet, Opus 59, Number 3, 4th mvt. by Ludwig van Beethoven and the Anderegg twins compete in a round of "Musical Jeopardy."

The Walnut Hill Cello Trio (Matan Chorev, 17, from Brookline, MA; Marcus Johnson, 17, from Natick, MA; and Kee-Hyun Kim, 18, from Natick, MA) performs Requiem by David Popper and the members compete in a custom tailored round of "Cello" Musical Jeopardy.

Violinist Tricia Shen, 13, from Eugene, OR, performs Tambourin Chinois by Fritz Kreisler and shows off her perfect pitch in a game called "Who Wants to Eat Some Chicken Feet."

Flutist Alexis Fitts, 15, from Philadelphia, PA, performs Afternoon of a Faun by Claude Debussy and takes From the Top's "Pro Musicians Aptitude Test."

The Ragazzi Quintet (violinist Anna Dickerman, 14, from New York City; Jae Kim, 15, from Flushing, NY; cellist Michael Midlarsky, 16, from East Brunswick, NJ; violist Alex Tall, 16, from Cresskill, NJ; and pianist David Allakhverdov, 15, from Bronx, NY perform Shostakovich’s Piano Quintet, 3rd mvt., and David Allakhverdov stumps Christopher O'Riley in a round of "Dueling Pianos."
